Lorrie Morgan, daughter of Grand Ole Opry star George Morgan, made her professional debut at age 13 on the Opry, where her rendition of “Paper Roses” received a standing ovation. Since then, she has fine-tuned her skills and become the first woman in her genre to begin her career with three consecutive Platinum albums. Morgan writes about her life, “Where I am in my life right now, I’m not afraid to express what I feel, or what I don’t feel,” she comments about the collection’s varied moods. “I’m not afraid to express my views on anything, especially on being a woman.  In many ways, I am a living, breathing country song, and I know what I sing.” With tons of hits and billboard topping tunes, Lorrie Morgan is not to be missed on the mountain this January. Only at MusicFest.
