Bruce Robison grew up in Bandera, Texas where he, his brother Charlie, and their sister Robin Ludwick, fell in love with Willie, Waylon, Hank, and other country luminaries. All three began writing their own tunes. Eventually, Bruce’s songs turned into hits for George Strait (“Desperately”), Tim McGraw (“Angry All the Time”) and the Dixie Chicks (“Travelin’ Soldier”). He also has recorded on his own and collaborated with others as a songwriter, singer, guitarist, harmonica player and producer. Bruce’s impact on the genre earned him his spot as the 2018 MusicFest tribute artist. His infectious love for music is evident in every note of his new album, Bruce Robison & the Back Porch Band, as well as his new project, The Next Waltz, a blossoming community of artists, fans and friends gathering both virtually and at his recording studio just outside of Austin. His Latest Release, Beautiful life, with wife Kelly Willis is their 4th collaboration and a must listen to album for 2019. Don’t miss The Next Waltz recordings, “Married into Music” and much more on the mountain this January…only at MusicFest.
