Independent music + Champagne Powder + Adventure at every turn

There’s only one place in the world where these elements all come together

The MusicFest at Steamboat

Everyone knows that The MusicFest hosts a 200+ hour marathon of live music in eleven different venues, but what about everything else that makes Steamboat such a unique festival destination? From snowmobiling over a mountain top; to fine dining and shopping; to the relaxing and rejuvenating hot springs; to fly fishing in the Yampa River; to speeding across untouched snow pulled by a trusty pack of huskies – Steamboat offers a true Western adventure to anyone looking to explore.

Here’s just a few of the activities you can enjoy:

Hot Springs

At the end of an active day, a relaxing soak in a natural Colorado hot springs mineral pool can be just what your sore muscles need. The natural hot springs at Strawberry Park is one of Steamboat’s many natural treasures. The Strawberry Park Hot Springs, located less than 7 miles from downtown, features therapeutic, thermal pools with temperatures from 101 – 105 degrees in a rustic mountain setting.

Horseback Riding

Saddleback Ranch is a real 4th Generation working cattle ranch located only 13 miles from scenic Steamboat Springs. A horseback ride is the perfect way to enjoy the scenery, take some pictures, and learn about the cows and calves, and there is excellent chance of seeing wildlife. Horses are available for all riding abilities. Children under 18 years old must be booked with an adult. Saddleback Ranch is closed on the 4th of July.

Along with great skiing, Steamboat Springs is known for great snowmobiling conditions and offers a large selection of tour companies to choose from. Depending on what part of the Yampa Valley you are wanting to enjoy, you will find what you are looking for.

Looking for a really unique experience? Try a snowmobile tour plus tubing adventure, or opt for the moonlight and sunset snowmobile tour followed by dinner at a remote cabin.
