There are so many memorable MusicFest moments, but my favorite was getting a late night call (we’d gone in early that night) from Randy Rogers telling us Dean Dillon was playing in his room. That changed me.

Name one artist of any genre besides country that you are a fan of and tell us why?
I like so many different kinds of music. So I’m going to go with new ones! I LOVE how every genre of music is in retro mode right now. There are artists breaking out right now who have a sound that reminds you of the music you grew up listening. A guy that grabs me is The Weekend! And a group I just heard the first time this weekend was 21 Pilots! They reminded me of Radiohead but with 311 and Beastie Boys mixed in.

I laugh all the time! A good comedy, my kids, Adam Hood!
